72 Fairest Lord Jesus

1

Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,

O Thou of God and man the Son;

Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,

Thou my soul’s glory, joy, and crown.

2

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,

Robed in the blooming garb of spring;

Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,

Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

3

Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight,

And fair the twinkling, starry host;

Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer,

Than all the angels heav’n can boast.

4

All fairest beauty heavenly and earthly,

Wondrously, Jesus, is found in Thee;

None can be nearer, fairer or dearer,

Than Thou, my Saviour, art to me.

691 Saved by Grace

1

Some day the silver cord will break, and I no more as now shall sing;

But, O, the joy when I shall wake within the palace of the King!

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace;

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace.

2

Some day my earthly house will fall, I cannot tell how soon ‘twill be;

But this I know – my All in All has now a place in Heaven for me.

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace;

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace.

3

Some day, when fades the golden sun beneath the rosy tinted west,

My blessed Lord shall say, “Well done!” And I shall enter into rest.

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace;

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace.

4

Some day; till then I’ll watch and wait, my lamp all trimmed and burning bright;

That when my Saviour ope’s the gate, my soul to Him may take its flight.

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace;

And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story – saved by grace.

59 I Will Praise Him

1

When I saw the cleansing fountain, open wide for all my sin,

I obeyed the Spirit’s wooing, when He said, “Wilt thou be clean?”

I will praise Him! I will praise Him! Praise the Lamb for sinners slain;

Give Him glory, all ye people, for His blood can wash away each stain.

2

Tho’ the way seems straight and narrow, all I claimed was swept away;

My ambitions, plans, and wishes, at my feet in ashes lay.

I will praise Him! I will praise Him! Praise the Lamb for sinners slain;

Give Him glory, all ye people, for His blood can wash away each stain.

3

Then God’s fire upon the altar of my heart was set aflame;

I shall never cease to praise Him, glory, glory to His name!

I will praise Him! I will praise Him! Praise the Lamb for sinners slain;

Give Him glory, all ye people, for His blood can wash away each stain.

4

Blessed be the name of Jesus! I’m so glad He took me in;

He’s forgiven my transgressions, He has cleansed my heart from sin.

I will praise Him! I will praise Him! Praise the Lamb for sinners slain;

Give Him glory, all ye people, for His blood can wash away each stain.

5

Glory, glory to the Father! Glory, glory to the Son!

Glory, glory to the Spirit! Glory to the Three in One!

I will praise Him! I will praise Him! Praise the Lamb for sinners slain;

Give Him glory, all ye people, for His blood can wash away each stain.

190 Rejoice, the Lord Is King

1

Rejoice, the Lord is King; your Lord and King adore!

Rejoice, give thanks, and sing, and triumph evermore.

Lift up your heart! Lift up your voice! Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

2

Jesus, the Saviour reigns, the God of truth and love;

When He had purged our stains, He took His seat above.

Lift up your heart! Lift up your voice! Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

3

His kingdom cannot fail; He rules o’er earth and Heaven;

The keys of death and hell are to our Jesus given.

Lift up your heart! Lift up your voice! Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

4

Rejoice in glorious hope! Our Lord, the Judge, shall come,

And take His servants up to their eternal home.

Lift up your heart! Lift up your voice! Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!
